Liverpool 2-1 Leicester City: Player Ratings
By James Lassey
Midfielders
Vincente Iborra – 6/10
Having missed his play-making abilities in the Watford loss, Iborra tried to impose his authority in the middle of the park with some good through balls.
He played a pivotal part in the lead up to Vardy’s goal, he found Mahrez in the box who unselfishly assisted the striker.

Wilfried N’didi – 6/10
Didn’t really get into the game other than a long ranged shot that whizzed inches wide. Combative as always, but struggled to contain Phillippe Coutinho in the hole.
Marc Albrighton – 6/10
Another dogged display full of desire and grit, worked hard down the flanks to stop crosses reaching Leicester’s box.
Riyad Mahrez 7/10
Did superbly well to square Vardy in for the goal and along with the scorer, they looked to be the Foxes only real on the break.
Demarai Gray 6/10
A quiet afternoon for the youngster given that Liverpool were on the front foot for the majority of the game.
