Leicester City 3-0 Huddersfield: Three lessons learned
By James Lassey
A superb second-half display ensured that Leicester City overcame a lacklustre Huddersfield side putting an end to their five game winless streak.
After a forgettable first-half, it was Riyad Mahrez who sparked the home side into life with an exquisite first-time volley before he played in Islam Slimani to double their lead.
Slimani then turned provider for Leicester’s third as his through ball found Marc Albrighton, who finished from point blank range.
There were highlights for Matty James and Adrien Silva, the former made his first start since his injury against Chelsea in September and Silva came on late to make his debut.
