A stretch too far

Following the eight games played in December alone, Puel’s players looked tired, dreary and over worked. Wes Morgan coming off with a groin strain before the half-hour mark only highlighted that.

While we can blame manager Claude Puel for not freshening the team up, we can have no complaints with his half-time team talk.

The originally ragged starting eleven looked inspired and a completely different team come the final whistle, in what was a real game of two halves.

With only five days until the Foxes are in action again when they face Fleetwood Town in the FA Cup on Saturday, surely most of the starting eleven will be rested.
