Leicester City’s best all-round display of the season

Despite the dropped points, the missed chances and the red card to Ben Chilwell deep into the second-half, Leicester produced what was their finest all-round display of the season. We have often praised Leicester’s attacking brilliance under Claude Puel, but the defence hasn’t always complemented the effort up front. Today, it was a different story altogether.

As good as Claude Puel’s side were going forward – even if not clinical – the defence was just as good, maybe even better and that’s what got the visitors their well-deserved point in the end when Chelsea were all over a ten-man City. Yes, the champions weren’t exactly at their best, but with the individual quality they have, it takes a mammoth effort to go to Chelsea’s home and keep a clean sheet.
