Leicester City secured a 1-0 victory courtesy of goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, stretching their unbeaten run to five games. Here are the major talking points from the Foxes’ well-earned win:

Jamie Vardy loves a penalty

Since Leicester City’s promotion back in 2014/15, Jamie Vardy has won more penalties than any other player (13), a reflection of what his raw pace can do the opponent defenders. The latest of those penalties was awarded today as Christian Kabasele did what other defenders generally do when Vardy makes his way into the box.

The 31-year old normally likes to thud it into the back of the net before setting off to celebrate, but today, he instead chose to calmly slot it past the keeper for his 10th Premier League goal of the season.
