There’s no way Riyad Mahrez is leaving for a mere £50 million

Were Leicester City to let Riyad Mahrez leave for £50 million, they’d be taking a huge loss, and in the process, contribute to what may quite possibly be the steal of the decade for anyone who gets him. You don’t have to do much to realise his value except maybe watching his goal against Watford today – the fifth he has netted against them in as many appearances.

The Algerian had a fair bit to do after new signing Adrien Silva set him up, and he dribbled past a hapless and helpless defender to put the game to bed. He didn’t do too much for the better parts of the game, but as world-class players do, the 26-year old made the most of his chance. Phenomenal player.
