Jamie Vardy has put a full stop to the speculation surrounding his Leicester City future, saying that he is fully concentrated at Leicester City.

The 31-year old has recently been linked to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton, with the Toffees being odds-on to land the England international in January.

Amidst growing fears that there might indeed be some truth to the latest reports on Jamie Vardy, the Leicester City front man has spoken up, making it be known that there’s no move on the cards.

Speaking ahead of his side’s FA Cup clash against Peterborough, he said:

"“Who have I been linked with today? Chelsea, they’ve been linked with everybody haven’t they?“You just have to take things like this with a pinch of salt, it’s just rumours. Usually it all gets started by someone throwing a few quid on it at the bookies.“I’m a Leicester player and I’m just concentrating on Leicester until the club tell me otherwise and we will be looking to progress to the next round of the cup.”"

Nearly every Leicester City player seems to be a target for a club these days, and if the rumours are to be believed in, the Foxes would hardly have a player left by the end of the January transfer window.

Two departures that are more or less imminent, however, are Islam Slimani and Ahmed Musa, both of whom were bought by Claudio Ranieiri in the summer of 2016 for significant sums.

While Slimani’s next destination isn’t clear as yet, with Newcastle United and AS Monaco both interested in his services, Musa is almost certainly set to return back home to CSKA Moscow on a loan from the East Midlands.

For Riyad Mahrez, meanwhile, even the English Cricket team is keen, but like all the other clubs that have at some stage been linked to the Algerian, they haven’t approached Leicester City with any formal offer. Apparently, £50 million is too much for the 26-year old.
