The Deadline Day is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.  At Leicester City, however, we have much more of an idea as to what exactly is going to happen.

Leonardo Ulloa and Ahmed Musa out of the club on loan deals already, there’s more to happen at the King Power Stadium before the transfer window is shut down for good. Here are the three Foxes who could be seen in different colours by the end of the day:

Riyad Mahrez

No surprises here. Riyad Mahrez has been a name making the headlines for all kinds of reasons, but the other day, he mostly did so for the wrong ones – at least from a Leicester City point of view. The Algerian put in a second transfer request in the space of half a season shortly after Manchester City submitted an enormous £50 million bid for him.

Although Leicester rejected the bid, the Citizens are expected to come back today with a much improved offer, and even if it is short of what the Foxes would ideally for their winger, the pressure from Mahrez and his representatives might just force them to let him leave.

Certainly, it doesn’t quite have the look of a fitting departure, but given the lack of offers for Riyad Mahrez, no wonder the 26-year has jumped at the chance of sealing a transfer to a club that’s on the verge of winning the Premier League and maybe even more.
