Islam Slimani

Think Islam Slimani, think Newcastle United. Rafael Benitez is on the look for a striker that saves his side from relegation, Leicester City are on the look for a side that helps them offload a few extras, and Islam Slimani is on the look for a club that helps revive his career. The situation has a done deal written all over it.

As reported by Sky Sports’ Keith Downie, Newcastle United have already agreed a loan deal for Aleksandar Mitrovic with Anderlecht and are now trying to bring in Slimani as his replacement. Leicester City are not looking to make any profit on this one, so don’t expect any huffing and puffing here.

Safe to say, all the parties involved will be equally as glad to see the transfer be realised.
