Jamie Vardy loves a goal at the Hawthorns Stadium

Jamie Vardy has a love affair with the home of the Baggies. The electric forward added another to his tally at the Hawthorns, making it four goals in four visits, though this one will take some beating as far as pure skill is concerned.

As good as Riyad Mahrez’s ball over the top was, Vardy still had it all to do. The 31-year old watched the ball drop over his shoulder, waited, waited and finally volleyed it into the corner. For anyone who watched it live, it’s one of Leicester’s best goals this season – and rightly so.

Jamie Vardy’s effort today was also the fifth that Riyad Mahrez has provided for him in the Premier League, equalling the tally from the title-winning campaign of 2015/16.
