Matty James and Leicester City are loving life in Spain ahead of their potentially season defining FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea on Sunday.

The Foxes are currently training in Marbella, Malaga to sweat it out in some warm weather, and be ready when the Blues come to the King Power Stadium to maybe play for the only trophy that might be available to them by then.

Chelsea are due to face FC Barcelona tonight at the Camp Nou in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie. The aggregate currently standing at 1-1, it might go either way, and depending upon what happens tonight, we may have an idea about what to expect from Antonio Conte’s side.

Leicester City, however, are not worried about that at the moment; in fact, they are enjoying their time in Spain. Speaking of his side’s adventures in Malaga, midfielder Matty James said:

"“We’re going to have one last push towards the end of the season like the gaffer talked about.“I think it’s just going to be nice to be together with the lads in a different environment. Like I say, it’s a nice area and hopefully we’ll have a good week.“Wednesday and the day after will be the two most difficult days of the week. It’s a normal week in a different environment.“We’re just going to enjoy it and do our normal work. I’m sure the gaffer will work on certain things ready for the game on Sunday.”"

Spending some time in a different environment can often reap rewards, as it did for Claudio Ranieri when is side had just lost to Arsenal in what was dubbed as a title decider. After the Foxes lost 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium, the Italian decided to take his side to Spain for a breather, and they eventually returned stronger to march to the Premier League title.

"“It’s nice to get away. The weather is quite nice and it’s a change of scenery for us. We’ve had a good session there with a lot of fun, so it’s good to be somewhere different,” James said.“It was a good session for us. It was just a little bit of fun to get the legs going after the plane journey. It was enjoyable for sure.”"

With eight Premier League games left and an FA Cup and a UEFA Europa League spot to still play for, Leicester City will have to be at their absolute best to achieve either or both of those targets.

A trip to Spain definitely seems like a good step towards achieving that.
