Swansea City want Andy King on a permanent deal from Leicester City
Swansea City would like to grab Andy King on a permanent deal if they manage to stay in the Premier League, according to The Sun.
The Swans are currently placed on 14th in the league table, though just three points separate them from the relegation zone with eight matches left in the season.
Shall Carlos Carvalhal manage to pull it off and ensure that Swansea City are still playing in the top tier of English football next season, then Andy King’s is one of the first transfers that they would like to seal.
The 29-year is currently on a season-long loan deal at the Liberty Stadium and would initially return to Leicester City before his current side can make him their own for the 2018/19 season.
This is a transfer that seems destined to happen because of a number of reasons. Andy King is currently happy with the way things are going for him at Swansea, especially when we consider the manager’s faith in him.
In comparison, he had mostly been on the bench and out of favour for Leicester City since the very start of the campaign, and there isn’t much to suggest that it won’t be that way again if he chooses to stay at the King Power Stadium.

Claude Puel is beginning to find the midfield combinations that suit his style the most, and he made it clear in his early days that Andy King wasn’t a part of those combinations despite his excellent work ethics and abilities.
It would be sad to see such a fine servant of the club leave, but then again, each story must come to an end.
