Leicester City have got a lot of problems, and picking a left-back is definitely one of them for Claude Puel.

The Frenchman has had to constantly endure the headache of choosing between Christian Fuchs and Ben Chilwell, and while it’s a good problem to have, dropping one for the other generally leaves one side of the pitch either short of attacking prowess or defensive nous.

Ahead of a crucial fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, Claude Puel has spoken up on his dilemma, appreciating the competition there is between the two players – and the team in general.

Talking of the two left-backs, he said:

"“They have different qualities. “Christian is an experienced player with good qualities, good feet. He is a technical player, who puts in good crosses. “Chilly is a young player without experience but with good attributes to take the space to join in attack also. “It is a good choice for me with good opportunities."

"“They are good options and it is good for a team to have different options. It is important to keep them both in good spirits with a good mentality because it is good competition. “I think the players need competition amongst themselves to give their best in training and win their place. I think it is great. “We have two opportunities in any position and it is interesting in this squad.”"

You’ve got to give it to Claude Puel for answering the question the Arsene Wenger way, but the question is still unanswered. Ben Chilwell or Christian Fuchs? Youth or experience? Agility or ability? We take a look:
