On-loan defender Aleksandar Dragovic is unhappy at Leicester City and may not make the loan move permanent, according to Talk Sport’s Geoff Peters.

The Austria international has had his patience tested at the King Power Stadium ever since his Deadline Day move from Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite putting in some fine displays at the heart of the defence alongside Harry Maguire, he has only made 14 appearances at Leicester City, having to regularly warm the bench for the steadily declining Wes Morgan.

As a result, he is no mood to extend his stay at Leicester and is likely to go back to Germany. He may, however, make his move permanent, shall there be a managerial change.

Aleksandar Dragovic will only cost Leicester City a mere €20 million and will without a doubt be a bargain, but they have got to convince him to stay first by playing him instead of the long gone Wes Morgan.

The club captain has been in disastrous form for a majority of the season, but somehow, he has still been able to maintain his place in the side that’s crying out for defensive reinforcements.

No one can question his commitment to the side, and the fact that he will put his body on the line for Leicester City, but like any other player, age has caught up with him, too.

Leicester are better with Dragovic and Maguire as the two centre-backs, and Claude Puel must realise that to give his side a chance of picking a few points in the remaining three games of the season.
