Football Web Pages have used a unique super computer algorithm to come up with the final Premier League table – and it makes for good viewing for Leicester City.

The super computer predicts an eighth place finish for the Foxes with 53 points, just five points behind seventh-placed Manchester United (yes, you read that right).

At the top of pile are Manchester City with 108 points – thereby breaking their own record from last season – while Liverpool, with 101 points, finish second. Completing the top four are Chelsea (95 points) and Watford (80 points). Again, you do read that right.

The super computer’s most interesting prediction, however, is about Cardiff City. Apparently, Neil Warnock’s newly-promoted side are not just going to go down, but go down with utter humiliation, collecting only seven points – the worst ever in the Premier League. They could make the Derby County of 2007/08 look good, who collected a mere 11 points.

Huddersfield Town, with a points tally of just 12 (the third-lowest behind Derby), and West Ham United, with a tally of 27, are the other two relegated teams. The Hammers could easily be one of the finest sides on paper to head to the Sky Bet Championship. Here’s the complete table:

  1. Manchester City: 108 points
  2. Liverpool: 101 points
  3. Chelsea: 95 points
  4. Watford: 80 points
  5. Tottenham Hotspur: 74 points
  6. Arsenal: 66 points
  7. Manchester United: 58 points
  8. Leicester City: 53 points
  9. Wolverhampton Wanderers: 49 points
  10. AFC Bournemouth: 47 points
  11. Crystal Palace: 41 points
  12. Brighton and Hove Albion: 40 points
  13. Everton: 40 points
  14. Fulham: 40 points
  15. Burnley: 39 points
  16. Newcastle United: 35 points
  17. Southampton: 28 points
  18. West Ham United: 27 points
  19. Huddersfield Town: 12 points
  20. Cardiff City: 7 points.
