Who should Leicester try and Sign?

With Vardy getting older and Iheanacho failing to seize his numerous chances over the past two seasons, it is time for Leicester to invest in a world-class striker. They should look for a younger striker who can hold up the ball well, be able to fit in Claude Puel’s style of play, and have the pace to get behind defenders.

Michy Batshuayi is an appealing option in this regard. Currently on loan from Chelsea at Valencia, he has only scored one goal in 12 appearances; however, looking at his form for Borussia Dortmund – scored nine and assisted two goals in 14 competitive games – he has the ability to succeed for City. In addition, he is a proven Premier League goalscorer. During his time with Chelsea, he has scored 19 goals over 53 appearances in all competitions.

Batshuayi needs a fresh start in England, and Leicester can give him that. He would probably cost somewhere around €35 million, according to transfermarket.com. If Leicester are willing to dish out €19 million for a defender, then they should be able to part ways with about that much to sign a quality striker.
