‘Puel in’ Vs ‘Puel out’: Leicester City supporters’ Claude Puel conflict

An important element to be aware of is fundamentally both sides of this argument want one thing – the best for Leicester City Football Club. Yet, Foxes of Leicester felt compelled to conduct a poll on whether Claude Puel is the correct manager, the results were interesting:

Times have been worse for Leicester City. Much worse. Division One, going into administration, being saved from probable non-existence. As they say: ‘the Leicester City rollercoaster’ rolls on. One thing Claude Puel has indisputably done, is steady the ship.

Yeah, the waters are inconsistently fluctuating, there’s nothing of much interest to look at and we only catch small fish – but we ain’t sinking. There are also life jackets – a rather poor analogy for being safe from relegation, bar a miraculous downturn.

Everyone in Leicester, including supporters, staff, players and ownership all want the same for the club – the absolute best possible. Therefore, Foxes of Leicester pose the question: Should Puel have more time to prove that he is the correct person for the role of manager?

Is Puel chopping and changing into different systems each week – which literally seem to confuse the players more and more – annoying you yet?

In the end, the outcome of the Twitter poll was an interesting complete split of the Blue Army. Naturally, only a tiny fraction of the fans were actually surveyed – 260 – yet, many more will have seen the census and had the opportunity to contribute. FoL believes this is still a useful, valid study. Which obviously concludes a basic conflicting opinion between the entire fan base, 50/50; even if a future wider ballot base generates a victorious side.
