At the time of writing, these are the three most likely players to leave Leicester City at the end of the January transfer window:

Leicester City are ticking over ok, trundling along fine, not too low in the Premier League table. Certainly not quite as high as the European qualification aspirational wishes.

It is unclear if this club is actually content with its position: out of both the FA Cup and the League Cup. In addition, there is an outward satisfaction with their signings and peripheral squad players; yet much change developed over the previous calendar year, and Foxes of Leicester expect more to come as boss Claude Puel’s remodeling continues.

For example a new marquee signing will emerge now or in the summer. Then there is the case of players like the revitalised Danny Simpson; managing to start again amongst positional injury. Although it appears he is no more than a solid defensive understudy in reality. Naturally it’s admirable to fight your way back into the manager’s plans.

Shinji Okazaki

One of this writer’s favourite players is Shinji Okazaki. The Japanese forward is a positive example for youngsters and adults alike with his affable persona and giving character on and off the field. Constantly sporting the best smile in football.

Okazaki’s history with team is undeniable as a champion; his legend will last forever in Leicester City folklore. Sadly this season has seen him play half his usual amount of Premier League games and has struggled to net with no goals.

Sky Sports claimed the striker – who’ll be age-33 in April – wants to leave Leicester with Huddersfield Town the named interested team. Okazaki’s contract ends in a few months; and he confirmed his want of first team football via a blog.
