Leicester City squad ‘happy’ ahead of visit from Crystal Palace
Claude Puel insists the Leicester City squad are ‘happy’ as his side prepare for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday; despite only one point in five matches.
With Leicester’s historically up and down form, it wouldn’t have surprised many of us Blue Army folk if Leicester City managed to steal, or deserving get, a win at Anfield in Liverpool.
Neither would gaining points from a poor Manchester United that day have been that shocking. If chances were taken, along with a more clinical penalty versus Tottenham Hotspur then, again, more reward would arguably have been attained.

Leicester City squad’s feelings

Puel spoke on the matter of how the squad currently feels following disappointing outcomes but encouraging performances:
"“We had fantastic chances.“It was very encouraging for this team and when I saw training sessions this week, they were happy with the performance, without the fair result.“It is important to continue this work this week.”Via: Leicester Mercury"
And in all honesty the team members should be feeling inspired – as it seems Puel’s modus operandi has been given breathing space at ownership level at Leicester.
While the fruits of his youth-invested labour payoff. Not with positioning gains in the Premier League, rather through the spectacle once more of a feeling of excitement. Because the 57-year-old’s speculative youthful English forward trio support Jamie Vardy in the aim of finishing the flowing attacking moves; in the face of recent defeat. Among other promising aspects.
