New Leicester City Assistant Coach can help sort the defence out – or that’s what Jonny Evans thinks.

Leicester have been conceding a few lately – they haven’t kept a clean sheet in nine consecutive matches now – and that has costed them a few points. They’ve won just one game this year, so maybe “few points” isn’t the right way to put it.

Now, what’s the way to put it all right? Evans seems to think Toure can help the cause. The former Ivory Coast international has a bit of a reputation since his days of invincibility at Arsenal, which is what the reason behind Evans’ hopes is.

Speaking of the 37-year old, the former Manchester United defender said:

"“If you look at the clubs he has been at; Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Celtic, it is amazing really.“He has only been here with us a few days but I am sure he will be able to give advice over the coming weeks.“We have to learn how to manage games and hopefully he can give us that and give us that encouragement as players go out and carry it out.”"

It doesn’t matter who the person to look after the defence is, we just need Leicester to stop bleeding goals. In fact, all we need at this stage is for the Foxes to win.

It has been ages since Leicester last won – 65 days to be particular – and no one would mind even if Brendan Rodgers’ side concede ten goals as long as they win. Where would the 11 goals come from, however, is very much up for debate.

Maybe Fulham’s – who Leicester play next – defence could help? They do have the attack to outscore the opponent, but they also have a defence that can help Huddersfield Town match their season tally in one game.

Surely, Leicester must be able to beat them this time? They drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture, which is also when Claudio Ranieri was in charge. The Cottagers now have a third different manager for the season. Leicester have their second, too. Merry-go-round.
