Leicester City quartet named in England U-21 squad

England have named their U-21s squad to face Germany and Poland at home – and the ones most pleased with it will be Leicester City fans.

There’s a huge summer ahead for the young Three Lions with the UEFA European U-21 Championship awaiting them in the summer.

Every game played from now on will go a long way in determining what the first-choice XI will look like come the Euros.

And there’s as many as four Leicester players who will get their chance to cement a spot in the team. Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudhury, James Maddison and Demarai Gray will all be featuring in England’s whites in the upcoming international break.

Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire, meanwhile, have been named in Gareth Southgate’s senior squad to face Czech Republic and Montenegro in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers.
