Ten-man Leicester City stunned Burnley to secure a smash-and-grab 2-1 win at the Turf Moor. Here’s what we learned from the Foxes’ super effort:

Red Card Kings of the Premier League

This is not a tag that Brendan Rodgers would want Leicester to associated with but as things stand, the Foxes are the red card kings of the Premier League.

As well as leading the (in)disciplinary charts with five red cards this season, Leicester have also seen more reds (10) than any other team since the start of the last campaign. That is pretty impressive when you consider that Tottenham Hotspur still play in the top division.

On a serious note, however, Leicester do need to improve on this front, simply by improving their poor defending. They’ve got too used to resorting to badly timed tackles, a habit they can only get rid of when the mistakes at the back are cut down.

Surely, Rodgers must be planning to bring in defensive reinforcements this summer.
