Leicester City are improving already

For a team that had to play for nearly all of the 90 minutes with ten men, Leicester’s display was too good. In fact, it would still have counted as a reasonably solid performance even without Harry Maguire’s sending off early on.

Burnley’s equaliser apart, Jonny Evans and Wes Morgan were excellent throughout the game, James Maddison was in a league of his own – something that we’ve not had the chance to say too manu times in recent months – Youri Tielemans was immense, Wilfred Ndidi lived upto his reputation, and, well, you can pick the superlatives yourself for the others.

Remember that this is after Brendan Rodgers has only been here for a month. With new signings and a complete pre-season with this team, the Irishman could possibly be able to bring Leicester into contention for a place in the top six.
