Jamie Vardy is having a party – again

Jamie Vardy has scored four goals and assisted another since Brendan Rodgers has taken charge. That’s a third of his season tally of 12 Premier League goals, and it has only taken him four games. He had four goals in 11 appearances before the managerial change.

This, however, is bad news for Kelechi Iheanacho. The Nigerian is struggling for game time at Leicester and with the national team.

With Vardy continuing to score goal after goal, he doesn’t look like he’d be establishing himself in the starting XI anytime. So much for Rodgers’ defence of him.
