Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire could snub Manchester United for a move to English champions Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.

The Red Devils have reportedly enquired about the England international but understand that he is more eager to be playing at the Etihad Stadium next season, not Old Trafford. Well, that’s the lure of Pep Guardiola and a well-managed club for you.

There have been also been reports stating that the 26-year old will be allowed to leave Leicester if the club’s £85 million valuation is met.

Both the Manchester clubs might be willing to pay that, so it really could come down to who Maguire himself wants to play for.

There’s world-beater at one end and someone who has been at the wheel for some time but is not really a recognised driver at the other. The choice should be simple and easy, to be honest.

Speaking of choices, James Maddison and Ben Chilwell could have a lot of them throughout the summer.

Maddison is of interest to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and United, while the rumours concerning Chilwell’s move to City are heating up, too. The Citizens, however, aren’t the only Big Six club interested in the left-back.

And as all of the current stars continue to be linked with numerous clubs, there’s no sign of a new signing arriving at the King Power Stadium anytime soon.

AS Monaco’s Youri Tielemans was expected to be signed pretty early on in the transfer window but the rumours about him have died as well. All in all, there’s not much happening that would excite the fans. Tedious times.
