Leicester City 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers: three talking points
Could this be Caglar Soyuncu’s season?
There have been a lot many occasions when Caglar Soyuncu has failed to justify his selection – or even his acquisition – so it is good to see him silence all of his critics for a change.
As has been said everywhere else, he was arguably Leicester’s best player against Wolves, putting in a display that was as convincing as it gets.
His numbers show how the Turkish international held his own at the KP:
Tackles: 3
Clearances: 3
Aerials won: 5
Total passes: 77
Passes completed: 71 (92.20%)
It is only the start of the season and there are bigger tests to come, of course, but the 23-year old has certainly given a fine demonstration of what he is all about. Those who had been panicking after Harry Maguire’s departure can sleep well for now.
