Hamza Choudhury names toughest player to mark in EPL: Leicester City
#TwitterTalk and Sky Sports gave fans a chance to ask Hamza Choudhury questions. The defensive midfielder spoke on life behind the scenes at Leicester City, amongst other things.
During pre-season and up unit now, Hamza Choudhury has given Brendan Rodgers a selection dilemma through excellent, dogged performances for Leicester City.
In part, the Foxes academy graduate became a more significant member of the side because of Wilfred Ndidi’s absence due to international commitments. Though upon return, the Nigerian has steadily reclaimed the role of solo defensive-minded midfielder in the Leicester starting XI. Meanwhile, the man simply known as Hamza by fans, awaits with vigor.
Us supporters of the East Midlands club certainly don’t want two-defensive-midfield players playing simultaneously – except maybe versus Manchester City and Liverpool. Additionally Choudhury has also leapfrogged Papy Mendy in the pecking order; Mendy had given a good account of himself which further bolsters Choudhury’s prowess.
Leicester City life
Sky Sports gave the opportunity for fans to #TwitterTalk with Choudhury recently – here’s what questions were asked, and what answers were given:
1. @ADIGZ: What is it like playing for Leicester City? – Amazing! Like I said a dream come true! I’ve said that many times: I think to play for your boyhood club is such an honour feeling and for me to do it is amazing at the King Power, especially when it’s full. And play in front of people we knew and grew up with – it’s really good.
2. @DUTTAAADESH: Fav moment in a Leicester shirt? – Probably my Premier League debut – I think so far that’s been my biggest achievement. It’s Amazing, it happened so quickly under Claude [Puel]. So yeah, making my debut against Tottenham [Hotspur].
3. @LFCADAM10: Hardest player you’ve had to try and mark? – [That] Would be Kevin De Bruyne; I think his awareness and his technical ability is the best in the league. If you give him any time on the ball he’ll punish you. So definitely Kevin De Bruyne.
4. @OLADIPUPO_AMODU: What is the biggest telling-off you’ve ever received? – Kicking a ball through a window when I was at school: I got caught on camera so I got quite a bad telling-off then!
5. @DANIELJLSOLOMON: Which players sing in the shower after a game? – A few to be fair: Kasper [Schmeichel] gives it a go. Kelechi Iheanacho’s always lively in the changing room. Madders [James Maddison] gives it a good go too, so we’ve got a few that are trying to have a bit of a sing-song in the shower.

6. @NIALLF96: Who plays the best music in the changing room before a game? – The physio has a mix of music that he puts on before the game that all the boys seem to enjoy, so, the physio.
7. @LCFC99: Does pineapple belong on pizza? Yeah. I have pineapple on my pizza and I quite enjoy it, so yeah.
