Leicester City full-back James Justin had quite a time at Kenilworth Road.

As the Foxes earned themselves a comfortable 4-0 win against Luton Town to go through to the next round of the Carabao Cup, it was Justin who impressed the most.

The 21-year old didn’t merely find the back of the net on his debut but was pretty good in terms of his overall performance as well.

No surprises, then, that his former club missed him, as manager Graeme Jones himself confessed. He said:

"“I think James Justin just shows you what we lost here at Luton, because I thought he was outstanding tonight.”"

Leicester just keep on finding one gem after the other. It is almost as if emerging players do not want to be anywhere else except the King Power Stadium.

You look at the last two seasons and you would find a myriad of young players who have rose to prominence and are ready to light up the game in the coming years – if they are not already.

This is also why the expectations of those associated with Leicester are unusually high now. The club has some of the very best at its disposal and is therefore ready to sustain a top four challenge for a long time.

Of course, a lot of them could leave for bigger clubs, too, but Leicester are a different animal now. They have more money and the attracting power to land world-class players to go with it – players like Youri Tielemans and Dennis Praet.

Not to forget Justin, mind. It is only one game and one good showing but he has always been one to keep an eye on.
