Two Leicester City players have made it into Garth Crooks’ Premier League team of the week for BBC Sport.

Leicester ran riot at the King Power Stadium against Newcastle United on Sunday as a five-star performance saw them put five goals past the visitors.

It was a perfect display – the kind that Brendan Rodgers would have dreamed of when appointed in February. There’s hardly a player who you could say was – on a scale of 1-10 – below 7.5, which is saying something.

While it is hard to pick who among them was the best, Crooks has done the hard bit and picked Jamie Vardy and Ricardo Pereira in his team of the week.

Vardy scored a brace to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United tally of 84 goals in 196 appearances, meaning he now has 85 goals in 183 appearances. If he wasn’t a Premiership legend before, he definitely is now.

Pereira, meanwhile, continued his goalscoring form, netting his second in as many games. However, there is no doubt as to which one was the better strike. After all, a 40-yard run followed by a sumptuous strike from the edge of the box is something that you do not see every day from a right-back.

Here’s Crooks’ TOTW in full:
