Good news from the Leicester City v Arsenal press conference
Brendan Rodgers had good news for Leicester City fans in his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s visit to Filbert Way. This includes Foxes of Leicester’s predictions for the clash.
Usually facing Arsenal would be a relatively daunting task for Leicester City. Other teams batter the weak, fragile Gunners and get points at home especially. Yet the Foxes seem to get beaten frequently by them. Even in the Premier League title-winning campaign of 2015/16 the North Londoners did the double over City.
However, Leicester are now striving to replace a member of the premiership elite – with Arsenal a prime target for elimination from the so-called big six. On Saturday Unai Emery may need to be more defensive-minded.
Brendan Rodgers’ team have the spirit and consistency which entirely eludes Emery’s team at present. They are on the decline with his position seemingly in jeopardy. While Rodgers has the world watching Leicester attentively once more, and European qualification firmly in focus.
Predictions for Leicester City v Arsenal
At FoL we are truly envision a Foxes victory; as well as predicting that the enigmatic Jamie Vardy will score at least once. He currently leads the division’s goalscorers with 10.
Leicester City are extremely likely to field the same side which has been winning convincingly of late. Never change a winning team, and all. Naturally that sentiment is further enhanced by the good news from the press conference: Rodgers has no injuries in his squad.
