Leicester City have done well against the Big Six

Normally, you get the measure of where does a team stand by looking at how they fared against the Big Six. Speaking purely in terms of points, Leicester have not done badly. They have taken seven points out of a possible 15, securing wins against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur and drawing against Chelsea.

While they were beaten by Liverpool and Manchester United, it is debatable whether they deserved to lose either of those games, especially the former. In none of their encounters with the (overly glorified) Big Six have Leicester looked uncomfortable or daunted. In fact, it was much the other way around when they played the Gunners.

High-profile fixtures weren’t a problem for Leicester last season either. Problem was the niceties against smaller teams. This season, that has not be the case at all. You know what that means.

Do not rule out Rodgers’ side out of the title race yet.
