January exit highly unlikely for James Maddison: Leicester report

All of Leicester City’s stars seem to be being targeted by elite clubs, if you believe reports. However, one potential deal is now apparently off.

James Maddison is the main catalyst for Leicester City; none of us at Foxes of Leicester are surprised that he commands respect or admiration. Neither is it a shock that he made his England debut. Along with receiving potential interest from the best clubs in the preeminent division in the world: the English Premier League.

How Maddison became so well-known and well-liked is due to his exceptional No.10-style play. In addition, he appears to improve at every club he plays for; the incredible thing about that is that the standard of his teams and levels continuously increases.

From Coventry City to Aberdeen, to Norwich City, to Leicester and finally transitioning to a full-international seemingly effortlessly – “Madders”, who celebrated his 23rd birthday at the weekend, is special.

Leicester City in 2019/20

With the Foxes defence currently conceding the least domestically, many journalists expect and predict that the back line will be broken up. Hopefully no one will be enticed to ‘bigger’ sides during the January transfer window.

Caglar Soyuncu and Jonny Evans are both apparently identified as targets for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. Ben Chilwell has been linked with loads of prospective new clubs. While Ricardo Pereira has also spoken of his commitment to the King Power team, as Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly interested.

However, if choosing from the entire squad the majority of supporters would nominate James Maddison as the player they’d least like to see depart in January. Manchester United are said to admire the former-Norwich playmaker very much. To that end, Foxes of Leicester can pass on some excellent news:
