James Maddison’s price tag has been revealed: Leicester report
An apparent price tag has been placed on Leicester City star midfielder James Maddison’s head. The report reveals the fee.
There isn’t a club in the world that could do without the style, innovation, substance and adroitness of a player like James Maddison. Leicester City’s talented playmaker is seemingly a hot commodity. Therefore we should expect incoming transfer bids or interest in January.
Though, if the 23-year-old leaves, it is way more likely to be in the summer window. Not to mention that the Foxes hierarchy will be determined to keep arguably their most prized asset. Since Maddison finally made his England debut, his profile has risen even higher.
In the meantime “Madders” has produced considerable contributions to the second placed Premier League club’s progress. His goal scoring has steadily increased as well as now making direct assists, not just key passes in abundance. The complete attacking-midfielder?
Interest in Leicester City stars
As previously mentioned, top clubs in English football are thought to be monitoring the former Norwich City man. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United and Man City have all been potential suitors over time.
Now the national media have again ramped up the links. Although it isn’t just Maddison who is speculated about: Leicester’s defenders and Wilfred Ndidi are favourite targets for the press. While other articles suggest, like manager Brendan Rodgers, the preeminent athletes on Filbert Way will soon sign new contracts.
However, The Athletic says the Foxes have placed a valuation on their player, which may fend off interest. £100 million is the touted amount. Which sounds about right for the exquisite No.10. If you don’t have a membership with The Athletic, then click here to read Leicester Mercury‘s assessment.
