Reports have linked Arsenal with a possible bid for Nigerian Leicester City star player, Wilfred Ndidi. Granit Xhaka may be used as a bargaining chip.

Once again us football supporters, whoever we may follow, enter into the warped period of transfer ‘news’ or speculation time. At Foxes of Leicester, rather than being purveyors of the rumor, we analyze the likelihood of transfers. Along with whether or not, in our mildly educated opinion, the prospective incoming players would be suitable or successful at Leicester City.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that this writer introduce you to the latest bizarre link: Granit Xhaka to the Foxes. Arsenal’s defensive-minded midfield hasn’t been that good for the Gunners following a highly anticipated move to England, in all honesty.

Not to mention his overly laid back, no urgency style completely contradicting the fast paced modus operandi at King Power Stadium. Additionally, the Foxes have Wilfred Ndidi, who is giving N’golo Kante et al a run for their money as the best defensive-midfielder globally.

Yeah, we said it: now that his passing is improved, the Nigerian is unbelievably brilliant. Ndidi is won’t get more than goal or two a campaign but he is a simply awesome talent.

Arsenal after Leicester City talent

Sadly this is where the problem may arise for the East Midlands club, as Arsenal have now been linked with a possible bid for Ndidi. The proposition may include the Swiss international as a part-exchange, as well as cash going to Leicester.

FoL can assure you that the general consensus will be that Xhaka – still a quality performer – is not needed on Filbert Way. Neither is his sort of understandable outburst at the Arsenal faithful something Foxes want at their club.
