With a tight battle for a Champions League spot ahead, Leicester City need to reinforce their squad, particularly on the wing. With plenty of options available, the Foxes have some decision making to do.

Leicester City have had a spectacular year, but one aspect has erred fans: inconsistent performances from the wing. Harvey Barnes has been inconsistent, while Demarai Gray, who has improved since last season, is still streaky overall.

Nobody can say a player has filled the massive boots of Riyad Mahrez, so this brings us to this transfer window.

Now that the Foxes can confidently claim they can bring European football to King Power Stadium, that should entice plenty of classy players to sign for the club. Here are six wingers Leicester City should strongly consider signing this transfer window.

Emmanuel Dennis – Club Brugge

Dennis exploded onto the scene with the Belgian club in their 2-2 tie with Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage. He bagged a brace in that game and demonstrated his blistering pace alongside his clinical finishing. The Nigerian is fairly versatile, as he can play on both sides of the wing and as a central striker.

The 22-year-old has scored 5 times in 15 matches in the Belgian Pro League. Dennis still has room to develop but he’s the kind of player Leicester love to target during the transfer window, plus he has a fellow countryman in Wilfred Ndidi so chemistry could develop easily.
