Hakan Çalhanoğlu – AC Milan

Çalhanoğlu is very well known for his superb free kicks and booming long shots. A versatile player, the Turkish international can play both on the left-wing (where he mostly plays for Milan) and as a center attacking midfielder (where he mostly played for Bayer Leverkusen). He’s entering his prime at the age of 25.

Reports began swirling that Leicester are keen on signing Çalhanoğlu. The move wouldn’t break the bank at £17m but the main issue is that Çalhanoğlu would prefer a move back to Germany. Maybe Söyüncü can play secret agent and convince his Turkish buddy that England isn’t that bad?

Maxwel Cornet – Olympique Lyonnais

Maxwel has been an underrated name this season but has impressed in the stead of Memphis Depay, who is out with a torn ACL. He’s a speedy winger who can utilize both feet and is still a prospect in terms of age (23) so he has room to grow. This past summer Liverpool expressed some interest in buying Maxwel from Lyon but didn’t follow through. It’s unknown if Liverpool will come back to this but Maxwel would be a smart buy for the Foxes.

Florian Thavin – Olympique de Marseille

It’s no secret Thavin has been immense for Marseille the past few years. This year he’s been limited by an ankle injury. He isn’t expected to be back until February but when he returns, he’ll be back to the player that scored 22 goals and 11 assists a couple of years prior.

Leicester City were interested in him last summer but opted not to buy him. But with Marseille bookmarking a time to sell him this summer, maybe Leicester could move that time to this winter with a good offer. £40 million would be a no brainer for a quality winger in his prime with European experience.

Trending. This stat shows Maddison is now an elite midfielder. light
