Leicester reportedly negotiating for Barcelona defender

There are reports surrounding a Barcelona defender and Leicester City, the two clubs are apparently negotiating a transfer agreement.

Leicester City are enjoying a wonderful season in 2019/20: second in the Premier League, a possible League Cup final and a promising FA Cup draw. Brendan Rodgers’ impact was a knowing and telling one since joining during the last campaign.

Additionally to immediate success on the pitch, Rodgers’ influence and capability ensure the attraction of more skilled as well as generally better players. This transfer window may supply another surprisingly quality incoming.

Leicester City transfer news

While Ricardo Pereira is the undisputed King of the right-back position for the King Power club, he has been linked with a move away to huge teams around Europe. However,l the Portuguese is expected to remain a Fox at least in this window.

Though in the summer, if gigantic outfits like Barcelona or Real Madrid or Manchester City come in for the former Porto player, he may be enticed away. There is also worrying news swirling around sports media: Ricardo might have a release clause.

If Ricardo is to leave now or at the end of the term, you can absolutely guarantee that Leicester City have some targets which they’re already working on in anticipation.

With regards to possible replacements or competition for the man from Portugal, the Foxes are reportedly negotiating for Barcelona defender Moussa Wague. 21-year-old Wague is a Senegalese international and signed for Barca in 2018.
