Norwich City versus Leicester City is certain to be a lively affair, with one side aiming to avoid relegation and the other attempting to qualify for the Champions League.

Which club will take the prized three points from this big game at the business end of the season? Norwich entertain Leicester City at Carrow Road, in a proverbial six pointer. One goal is survival; the other, top echelon football in 2020/21.

Form-wise the Canaries have been fairly inconsistent, but have been worse: one win, one draw and three loses in the last five league outings. Whereas the Foxes have endured a worse recent record: two even scorelines, two defeats and a solemn victory.

Sadly for the Norfolk outfit, regardless of those slightly more encouraging results they are still the lowest placed team, at 20th position in the Premier League. This also appears to be their downfall, as time is running out to stave relegation.

However, Leicester should be playing in Europe during the next campaign, unless their mild faltering continues. Despite losing against Manchester City, Brendan Rodgers’ side looked more cohesive than in recent matches, to be fair.

Leicester City line-up

Now that it is less than an hour before kick-off, Rodgers’ and Daniel Farke’s starting elevens have been released. Foxes of Leicester are reassured to see Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes back, along with Hamza Choudhury returning for extra cover.

Additionally, we were not surprised to see Youri Tielemans dropped to the bench, after poor form overall. Jamie Vardy didn’t train every day of the week so the signs were there that he may not begin the contest. Although many supporters will be worried about the loss of the top scorer, Iheanacho is a capable top-flight goalscorer. Have faith!
