It’s the Last 16 of the FA Cup this week, with Championship outfit Birmingham visiting third placed Premier League side Leicester City.

If you surveyed the Leicester supporters, the two things they desire most would definitely be Champions League qualification and to finally win the FA Cup. That prospective, envisioned triumph is long overdue.

As routes go in the most prestigious, coveted domestic English cup behind the premiership, the East Midlanders journey has been mildly challenging but not too strenuous. They beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 at the King Power Stadium, along with subsequently defeating Brentford 1-0 away.

Leicester City v Birmingham, FA Cup 5th Round

In order to qualify for the quarter-finals, the Foxes will have to be on top form, the Blues will be up for the clash: motivated versus a higher status, and fairly local rival. Plus, Brendan Rodgers will make wholesale changes. Although he will keep some senior starters to reinforce potency.

Therefore the auxiliary side named must find cohesiveness fast in-game. Jamie Vardy has been ruled out of the match by the boss. While Wilfred Ndidi is available with no fresh injury concerns. Hopefully Matty James will make an appearance, though.

Foxes of Leicester suspect Rodgers will revert to his tried and trusted 4-3-3 formation: the Northern Irishman has had mixed results with the three or five defender system.

Below the link is where you can find FoL’s predicted XI for Wednesday’s game.
