These three players have been linked to Leicester City, and we at Foxes of Leicester believe they’d all be good summer transfer additions.

First of all, if you’re a Leicester City fan who believes that the Foxes don’t need to sign an exceptional winger this summer, then this article isn’t for you. If you think the King Power club doesn’t require capable, defensive-minded reinforcements during the off-season, then you are sadly mistaken.

In all seriousness, there will be incomings and outgoings before 2020/21 begins. Foxes of Leicester is under the impression that squad players are in the abundance on Filbert Way, therefore a higher standard of player is necessary. Especially with the Champions League hopefully on the horizon.

Here are three possible signings who are reportedly on Brendan Rodgers’ team’s radar.

Nathan Ake

Bournemouth’s classy defensive operator Nathan Ake is one athlete this writer would love to welcome on Filbert Way. His prowess is well-known: big clubs want him and he’s been a loyal servant for the Cherries. Though they are flirting heavily with relegation.

Maybe that relationship will come to an end this summer; if so Leicester City should definitely pursue his signature with vigour. If the Dutchman decides to leave, that is. At age-25, he could be a dependable stalwart, goalscoring defender for the next 10 years. Another versatile player who can play left-back, too.

Ake’s excellent traveling in possession can wonderfully replicate what Harry Maguire did so well and City are missing presently. Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu are a brilliant duo, if a little more static, along with appearing less adventurous.
