Foxes of Leicester provides the latest Leicester City news and updates. Including: training ground progress, the Adam Lallana transfer rumour saga and more.

Welcome to another day of lockdown Leicester City news. We were the lowdown – now you just change the letters slightly. Anyway, there are still daily English Premier League announcements to review and evaluate. Along with the usual Foxes updates. Let’s get to it!

Training ground developments

According to Telegraph, the brand new Leicester City practice facility in North Leicestershire is well on course to be completed and open – coronavirus depending – in July for all training purposes.

This positive development is quite surprising considering COVID-19 is disrupting the entire world. Foxes Manager Brendan Rodgers is, say the outlet, sure the finished complex will attract even more impressive youthful talent.

There is also the fact that the maturer player could also consider joining the ambitious East Midlanders, thanks to these improvements.

Adam Lallana to Leicester City?

We all know some experienced, quality players’ contracts are expiring currently: and the King Power side would love to grab some of Europe’s top-flight freebies. Alas, that manoeuvring is all uncertain now as many athletes may shortly extend their deals.

Meaning players such as reported Leicester target Adam Lallana – whose Liverpool time was coming to an expected end – may now stay another while. To be honest, Lallana would’ve been a back-up in this extremely adept City squad, anyway. Naturally he still may be available for free when the 2020/21 campaign eventually begins.

There is apparently going to be a decision from premiership officials today – Friday, April 3 – about an outcome, or, how to decide 2019/20’s division. Leicester will of course be affected directly from any ruling and you can bet your bottom dollar, pound or Euro that FoL will decipher the result for your reading pleasure.
