Leicester City have been linked with Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas.

However, they are not the only club after the Greek international, with Premier League counterparts Liverpool and Sheffield United, Scottish giants Rangers, La Liga’s Real Betis, Serie A duo Napoli and Inter Milan, Turkish League’s Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow and Primeira Liga’s Porto all interested in acquiring him.

That is one hell of a long list and goes a long way in demonstrating that we are looking at someone who has potential to be one of Europe’s best.

Priced at £22 million, Tsimikas made 36 appearances this season across all competitions, managing seven assists as well as a number of excellent displays.

While he is spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing his next club, Greek outlet Sportime reports that he wants to ply his trade in the Premier League, with Leicester touted as a very possible destination.

light. Also. Leicester set to return to training within a month

The Foxes’ interest in him comes as a result of Chelsea’s long-standing interest in current first-choice left-back Ben Chilwell.

In Brendan Rodgers’ first full season at the club, the England international has been way below the high standards that he set for himself in the last term.

And with the Blues’ lurking presence, his future remains uncertain for now.

Leicester did exactly what every Premier League club should. dark. Next

We do know there’s a player in there. He knows it. Other clubs definitely know it as well. Question is, who wants what, because there has been no clarity either from the club’s end or the player’s end.

Expect this to drag on.
