James Maddison feels “right at home” at Leicester City
Leicester City’s star man James Maddison is very happy at the club and feels right at home.
The no.10 has had his name linked with the fallen giants Manchester United and the Champions League merchants Real Madrid – although we doubt the credibility of this rumour – leading to usual fears of him leaving.
Of course, we all know what happens next. United pay £160 million to sign Maddison and Brendan Rodgers signs someone for less than a quarter of that. But who wants the hassle, right?
Besides, Maddison knows what becomes of those who go to Ole’s Old Trafford. Does not matter who is at the wheel, the Red Devils are still devoid of all the zeal – and they are in need of a major heal.
Anyway, let us not deviate and jump to what Madders said about being at the King Power Stadium.
"“It’s been a whirlwind two years and I’ve loved every second of it,” he told LCFC TV.“I feel right at home at Leicester. I feel like part of the furniture already and I love it here.“I love the lads, I love the fans, (we’ve got) a great manager, so I’m very, very happy.”"
Where did this come from? One would think that he has seen clips of United against teams from the lower half of the table. Or perhaps, Maguire has passed on some wisdom to him.
Either way, this is pretty good news for Leicester and their faithful. We were all jaded and absolutely knackered with all of the ‘Maddison to Fallen Giants’ and ‘Maddison to Trophyless Spurs’ rumours.
It is a good thing that he has himself felt annihilated at being linked with them and cleared it all once and for all.
However, keep in mind, words are worth nothing and actions have constantly proven that over the ages.
