Leicester City have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s teen sensation Bukayo Saka.

The 18-year old is yet to sign a new contract – his current deal expires at the end of next season – with the Gunners, who have not had necessarily found it easy to agree terms with him.

According to Football.London, there have been no talks between the player’s representatives and the club since February, which might mean a lot of things.

The player did recently post a video on his social media accounts – a highlight reel of some of his finest moments in an Arsenal shirt – captioned “⏳⚽️ …”, which, again, might mean a lot of things – including the possibility that a renewal announcement is on its way.

If it is not, though, then one would think that he is off, and to take him, we have, reports 90min’s Jamie Spencer, Manchester United (who apparently want every player available in the market), Manchester City, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund. Oh, and Leicester, too.

What a move this will be if the Foxes do make it happen. Saka has enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Emirates Stadium, leading the assist charts with nine in all competitions as well as scoring three.

Given his contract situation, if he does not wish to renew, then Mikel Arteta would have to let him loose for a fee that will certainly be substantially low than what the North Londoners could have otherwise demanded.

Brendan Rodgers should be all over him. Talents like him are not produced every day.
