With superclubs circling for certain members of the talented Leicester City squad, the Foxes hierarchy seek to have their assets sign fresh deals.

In recent years Leicester City have been known as an extremely astute club when conducting transfer business. Specifically for signing very adept players for nominal sums. Including: Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, N’golo Kante et all.

If Kante wasn’t sold for a pittance because of a now outlawed contract clause stipulation, the Foxes would also be lauded for their in-house dealings, too. However, they have been able to retain their stars since Mahrez petulantly forced his way out.

That feat is much easier with the ambitious club’s long-term plan seemingly coming to fruition under highly rated boss Brendan Rodgers. Obviously elite athletes are more likely to remain aboard a winning ship as opposed to one sinking to probable relegation.

New deals for Leicester City stars

At the beginning of 2018/19 James Maddison signed for Leicester City. His breakout season was almost predictable, as the former Norwich City man slickly and effortlessly assimilated into Premier League expertise. He has been ‘negotiating’ a new contract for most of this term, allegedly.

Hopefully the King Power chiefs will give him what he wants soon, chiefly because sides like Manchester United will certainly be monitoring Maddison’s on and off-field situation.

Two other prominent men of the Foxes team, that are apparently about to receive bumper new offers from their current club, are Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu.

Soyuncu made his premiership name this season; he is now one of the most impressive centre-backs in the division. While Tielemans failed to recreate his stunning form from the previous campaign.

Keeping both players is imperative to the Rodgers project; losing either would severely damage the roster’s overall quality. Bleacher Report suggests Maddison is the prime selection for resigning on Filbert Way.
