Now, FoL is all for due diligence and appropriate preparation for all possibly circumstances when it comes to Leicester City football club. Yet the signing of Ryan Bennett seemed a little too careful.

Of course the King Power outfit could afford another set of modest wages for six months. Additionally the club also wanted to send Benkovic out for more experience in competitive British sport. But Bennett hasn’t even been named in one matchday squad since arriving at Belvoir Drive to complete his momentary switch.

Albeit he probably would’ve featured by now had the coronavirus outbreak not reared its ugly head. Though the Wolverhampton Wanderers player’s career is now admittedly, via self confession, ‘up in the air’.

He is apparently behind five men in the Wolves defensive pecking order: so neither team may want the Englishman when normality returns. On the other hand his deal could be extended or repeated: meaning he’ll finish 2019/20 as a Fox, if that occurs. Or he may be a here for 2020/21 – who knows at this point?!

It’s a shame us City supporters haven’t yet had the chance to see him in Leicester blue, I have a feeling he could have been a success.

Hot. Don't believe the Philippe Coutinho to Leicester rumour. light

The latest news is that premiership bosses are expected to announce a May 18 return to group training.
