Foxes of Leicester have said on numerous occasions that Wilfred Ndidi is a crucial squad member. Now some big clubs apparently want Leicester City’s star.

We won’t spend another article explaining the disruption caused by coronavirus football in general and the transfer market greatly. No. But let FoL just remind our Leicester City readership that less money is likely to be spent, as well as less movements for cheaper fees.

That being said, business will still be planned and eventually conducted, as Brendan Rodgers himself indicated. With much time to think and assess targets, we can assure you that despite the previous paragraph – deals will still be done.

Does this mean Foxes fans can rest assured knowing that their star players won’t be plucked from Filbert Way? Not exactly: teams such as Barcelona and Real Madrid are still attempting a much needed rebuild. At the beginning of the weekend Caglar Soyuncu was linked with a move to Spanish giants Barca, for example.

Leicester City star midfielder targeted by superclubs

It is widely accepted – or known by those in the know – that Leicester City ball-winner Wilfred Ndidi is a world-class midfield general. There aren’t many professional counterparts whom get the better of the Nigerian international. Statistically the Lagos native is a stunning contributor to the Foxes side.

Many consider the former Genk man as vital to the starting XI. Results show that the King Power outfit is drastically worse without Ndidi. Therefore it is no surprise to learn from the latest transfer speculation that very significant clubs desire his signature.

Within BBC’s gossip section this weekend, the British media company carry a story linking Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain with possible future bids for the 23-year-old Fox. Trust us, Man United are also trying to claim back former glory; they will seriously be considering buying players of Ndidi’s quality. FoL understands that he is not for sale, however.
