Rangers join Arsenal, Man United in pursuit of Leicester starlet

Scottish club Rangers has apparently joined English clubs Manchester United and Arsenal in the pursuit of Leicester City starlet Dennis Gyamfi.

We aren’t far away from the Premier League comeback now. In exactly one week, two matches – Aston Villa versus Sheffield United, followed by Manchester City against Arsenal – begin the exciting restart. Leicester City will play Watford on Saturday, June 20.

No positive coronavirus tests have been reported after recent testing of all premiership clubs. If one does occur, it could obviously throw plans into disarray. In preparation for the start, the health of everyone involved permitted, the Foxes will reportedly play a friendly game with Villa.

There is no tangible transfer activity involving senior Leicester players as of yet; while young starlet Calvin Bassey was signed by Glasgow Rangers on a pre-contract. Foxes of Leicester spoke exclusively with former Foxes academy player alongside with one-time teammate of Bassey, Ethan Hodby, who explained that Steven Gerrard now has a gem on his hands at Rangers.

Rangers want second Leicester City starlet

Aside from their previously mentioned purchase from the King Power side, Gers now apparently desire another youthful Foxes asset. FoL has written a couple of articles about the need to keep talented starlet Dennis Gyamfi: an 18-year-old right-back at Leicester City. One who’s made a rapid rise through the youth set-up; he was elevated from the Under-23s to the first team when training resumed a couple of weeks ago.

Some onlookers believe this was undertaken to ensure the defender decided to sign a new contract, as his existing one expires soon. With Rangers now joining Manchester United as well as Arsenal in admiring the Fox, Brendan Rodgers must act fast with a fresh agreement.
