James Maddison has confirmed his absence from the Bournemouth v Leicester City match. Therefore Foxes of Leicester can reveal our predicted Foxes XI.

Ben Chilwell and his Leicester City and England team-mate James Maddison were not expected to play on Sunday against Bournemouth due to ongoing injury issues. Now Maddison has confirmed that he won’t feature in the contest, while offering his team his best wishes for the match.

Expected Leicester City line-up

Foxes of Leicester predicts Rodgers to continue with the 3-4-1-2 set-up – or a comparable system with three men at the back – Ryan Bennett may lose his place after a rather uneven display versus Arsenal where he seemed to be slightly out of his depth. Although, FoL has stuck with him in anticipation, for now.

Expected starting team: Kasper Schmeichel (captain); Bennett, Soyuncu, Evans; Christian Fuchs, James Justin; Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans; Ayoze Perez; Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy.

Harvey Barnes will be very unfortunate to miss out after impacting games from the bench, but nevertheless, this is how we believe the Northern Irishman select his line-up.

TRANSFER RUMOURS. Talks to open between Leicester, Man City over £70m transfer. light

Leicester City meet Eddie Howe’s downcast Bournemouth in a couple of hours from punishing. The Cherries will be clawing and fighting for a win or any points whatsoever, in a bid to retain their premiership status. Meanwhile the Foxes are arguably equally eager for a victory in order to maintain their rejuvenated push for Champions League qualification, as Chelsea overtook them and Manchester United eye an overtake.
