Unfortunately for Leicester City they will be without four starters for the remainder of 2019/20. One of those stars may miss the start of next season.

I can assure you that most Leicester City fans are getting annoyed with the everlasting Ben Chilwell transfer saga, one way or another. Some want him to stay and others are happy to retain the academy graduate. Either way it’s irritating being so unsolved.

My thoughts are that the Foxes should now sell the left-back – if a high bid materialises. I came to this decision following Luke Thomas‘s incredible debut display on Thursday in the 2-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Yes, people are correct to suggest it’s a bit early to judge the former Developed Squad player after one game – but what a game he had! Furthermore, the analysis of the performance Thomas provided reinforces the aforementioned opinion that the 19-year-old may be ready for full-time Foxes football.

Leicester City injuries

Unfortunately for the King Power outfit, they may be without Chilwell for the start of the next campaign, 2020/21. Not necessarily because Chelsea, Manchester City or Man United could purchase him, but due to a heel injury.

Essentially this is now less of a problem for Brendan Rodgers, for the aforementioned reason. It is time to listen to offers upwards of £55-60 million for the No.3, as Foxes of Leicester sees it.
